What is the booking process?
1 - "The Introduction" (via email)
It's important for you to know who we are and what we can offer. During this process, we want you to see our work, ask us any questions, and really see if we are a good fit for you. We believe that it is so important to find a videographer or photographer who aligns with your style and needs. We want you to want us! If you find that our style is not in alignment with what you want or need, please do not hesitate to ask for some referrals! We'd love to connect you with a talented videographer or photographer who can give you want you want.

2 - "Locking The Date" (via email)
If you've decided to go with our services, you will move on to the second phase! In this phase we will send over a contract so that you know exactly what we are going to deliver and when we are going to deliver it. We ask that with the signing of the contract, a 50% retainer is made in order to lock the date. 

3 - "Let's Connect" (over coffee, via v-chat, over the phone)
We love getting to know our clients. As your wedding date approaches, we will send over an electronic wedding questionnaire and do a consulting session to help you with the whole process. We’ve shot many weddings, so we have some tips and tricks up our sleeve. This is where you can ask questions, where we can help adjust the timeline, etc. We would also love to hear about any special surprises that you may have! 

What services do you offer? 
Photography + cinematography services for weddings & engagement sessions!
We currently are only offering our engagement sessions to clients who book a full wedding.

More than just photography and cinematography however, we want to be people who are there for you throughout your whole wedding process. From helping you figure out your timeline, to helping you stay calm throughout your wedding day, we promise to be there for you.

What is the Highlight Film?
The highlight film ranges anywhere from 3-7 minutes long depending on the package you select. You can view some examples of them here! The film is accompanied with music and professionally recorded audio. Our goal for the highlight film is not only to show the highlights of the day, but to display the amazing & unique love between you and your partner. 

Along with the highlight film you will receive the raw ceremony and toasts. This is the full length ceremony (with professionally recorded audio) along with the the toasts that your parents, MOH or best man might give. Some videographers charge an extra fee for this, and others don't offer it at all, but we want you guys to be able to remember all the special words people have said + the vows that you made to one another, so we just included it for you. 

Then what is The Time Kapsule?

The Time Kapsule is a completely separate video from the highlight film. It ranges anywhere from 30-40 minutes. We take a documentary approach (starting from the beginning of the day all the way to the end) and make sure to create a raw and memorable video so that you can relieve your special day over and over again.  You can either request it to be sent within 5 weeks after your highlight video is complete, or 1 year after your wedding day. That way you and your partner can enjoy watching it on your 1 year wedding anniversary! The Time Kapsule is an add on option only.
 

When should I book?
In all reality it depends on your wedding date. Some dates are very popular and book up quickly, however we only allow bookings 1 year in advanced. Best rule of thumb is to book at least 7-12 months in advance to secure the date. We have decided to take only a limited amount of weddings per year so we book out pretty quickly (quality over quantity)! 

When will we receive our film and/or images? 
Typically your photo gallery will be ready for viewing within 7-9 weeks after the wedding date (Engagement session images are ready within 4-5 weeks).

For the highlight film, our current turnaround is 10-12 weeks. Post processing for video takes much longer than photo so that is why the turnaround is much longer. You can expect your raw ceremony + toasts within 5 weeks of the highlight film being complete!

So basically,
Highlight Film: 10-12 Weeks
Raw Ceremony + Toasts: 4 weeks after final highlight film upload
Photos: 7-9 weeks
Engagement Photos: 4-5 weeks
Engagement Video: 6 weeks
The Time Kapsule: 5 weeks after highlight film upload or delivered near 1 year anniversary

What if my wedding is outside of Orange County?
Fantastic! We love traveling and seeing the world! It's really one of our passions. Send us a message and we can give you a custom quote. Typically we charge extra for flights + accommodation for 2-3 nights depending on where it is. 

Are you insured?
Most definitely. Just let us know if your venue requires proof of insurance and we can send it over!

How many weddings do you shoot a year?
We only take 20 weddings per year. Our clients deserve our utmost attention and service!

Do you edit all of the photos & films yourself?
We do! Everything is in house. For photography, our style is very clean and timeless. We strive to have a balance between editorial and documentary style shooting. Every single photo is individually color corrected and edited! Aside from the dreaded unexpected day-of wedding pimple, we stray away from photoshopping any physical features because we believe in the natural beauty of each person. 

Each film is also edited in house as well. Like stated above, the editing process for film is much longer than for photos because there are many more components to creating a film--music, audio, story telling, color grading, etc. We can spend up to days just finding the perfect song for your film. 

Do we get to choose the music for our film?
Most clients leave it all up to us because they trust our vision for the film. However you can feel free to send over a list of songs that have a specific feel that you like! Unfortunately, we can only use licensed music for our films (in order to avoid legal issues). That limits certain songs (especially more popular music) from being used in our films. 

Can we order prints or albums?
Yes of course! You can place orders directly through your online gallery. The printing service we go with has a beautiful collection of modern & minimal pieces of amazing quality. You can also choose to take the high-res files to a local print shop of your own choice.
