Kendall + Brent Destination Elopement // Patagonia, Argentina

When Kendall and Brent initially emailed us about the possibility of documenting their wedding in Patagonia, we literally JUMPED out of our seats because it was always a dream destination for us. We never thought we’d be able to document a wedding in Patagonia because it’s such a far destination, but Kendall expressed that it was her dream ever since she was 14 years old, and her dream was soon becoming a reality : ) We felt honored to have been chosen to document their day, and also proud to say that we were basically their witnesses for their union! : )

We stayed at a beautiful hotel in El Chalten and scouted a ceremony location for Kendall and Brent to share their vows. When we showed Kendall the spot, she immediately cried & that’s when we knew it was going to be the perfect location.

Kendall and Brent are extreme world travelers, so it only seemed fitting that the beautiful mountains of Monte Fitz Roy would be the backdrop of them committing the rest of their lives to one another. Lucky for us, the sun set at around 10:00 PM during that time of the year (can you believe it?!), so we had plenty of light to work with and they had plenty of time to get ready and prepare themselves for the moment that they’ve been waiting for. Kendall’s immediate family members wrote her sweet letters from home and they also brought along some wedding photos of their family members to honor them—those sweet details made it so much more special and it truly felt like they were right there with them.

Kendall and Brent also traveled to ANTARCTICA prior to meeting us in Patagonia, so they had to carry their wedding attire throughout their whole trip! So many people tried to get them to change into their wedding clothes in Antarctica to take photos, but they resisted the temptation so that they could save it for their first look in Patagonia. It was definitely worth the wait in our opinion. They also packed us Xxtra Hot Cheetos (knowing that we loved them) and so we basically ate Cheetos that had made its way through Antarctica (so cool)!!

We got to spend the week together eating, hiking, and soaking up the beauty of Patagonia :’) We’re so thankful for this opportunity and so thankful to have been able to capture a love story all the way in Patagonia, Argentina. Thank you Kendall and Brent for having us!!
